Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to cloth. In this workshop, you will be introduced to the art of traditional Batik painting. Design your own prints or paintings and learn to use traditional tools such as the ‘tjanting’ to create Batik pieces with wax-resist dyeing technique. Participants will also get to bring home your own self designed 50 x 43cm Batik artwork at the end of the session!
