Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Venue: HSS Foyer

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics and music. Performed by two people, it is often called the “capoeira game”- a martial art that is played and performed, not to fight. Participants will be taught 3 kicks, 3 defences and how to complete a proper cartwheel. The workshop will conclude with participants performing a martial art performance showcase. This workshop marks our 1st inclusion of martial arts in the NTU Art Festival activities, as we hope to further explore different forms of art and culture in the future.
