Silkscreen Printing

Date: 19th March 2020 (Thursday)
Time: 01:30pm – 3:30pm
Venue: Printmaking Studio (NIE3-B1-08)

Learn to design your own tote bags via the art of silkscreen printing! In this hands-on three-hour workshop at a fully equipped print studio, participants will learn how to create their own designs on a silkscreen stencil using the direct-exposing method. Participants will learn how to draw an image onto a transparency before transferring the image onto a silkscreen using an exposing unit, printing their designs on their very own tote bags using the silkscreen techniques they have learned. Participants will bring home the final product at the end of the workshop.

*Participants please bring a printed image of what you would like to have designed on your 33×37 cm totebag.
